Thank you for entering this contest! This is an excellent entry, a great capture in a social documentary context. I suggest shooting again in a similar lighting situation, however with a higher aperture. This will create depth with the detail you have here.

In the Stillness of the City, a great technological approach to motion blur. Reading your production details, it's impressive in your environment as there is a separation of foreground and background. The layers here are well shot and measured between motion and stillness. Well done.

Thank you for submitting this photo to this contest. I wanted to review your entry to note your editing skills. Self-portraits are indeed challenging, you've successfully captured yourself with the film reference. This would make an interesting series involving yourself within the cinematic universe.

This is a fun and very off the moment capture within a busy environment. It's a great skill to connect with key subjects in these situations and to have the quickness to capture key moments like this. Continue harnessing these skills!

This is a sweet portrait and interesting framing, with cinematic value too. You've captured a moment which feels special, and many wouldn't notice this subtle interaction. I suggest shooting again in a similar situation, however with a higher aperture. This will create depth with the detail you have here.

I'm always looking for alternative approaches to portrait photography, and you have delivered that with this entry. A wide frame offers more to the narrative here and reading that was originally in colour, I feel you made a great choice for a greyscale submission.

As a travel narrative, this has very interesting framing. You've included both a portrait narrative and environmental with your inclusion of the space. This holds in reference to many traditional portraits, I would suggest using a tripod next to combat the focal issue.

I'm really pleased that you shot this on film, an excellent grade too. Shooting on film gives such a timeless feel to a photograph. This looks like a very sunny day, and you have done well to not overexpose here. Well done!

I’ve chosen this image to review to further commend your use of layers and balance of light in this portrait. The soft focus creates a warmth and the hand detail really connects the view to the portrait, it gives an openness to the visuals.

I really love how delicate this portrait is and the sense of calm it brings to the eye. This is a tremendous entry, you’ve balanced the lighting so well that it doesn’t over expose your model's features and the main emphasis of the narrative of the sensitivity of ageing. Gentle, effective and moving. Great job!

Thank you for entering this contest! I found your image very reminiscent of your references, your model is adorning Andy Warhol make - up with an edit referencing Megan the Stallion. This is great, bringing two pop culture moments together. Good job!

Congratulations! This landscape portrait immediately caught my eye. I commend your high production use for the result of this image, studio lights, professional models and set design. Post-production is well applied, as I imagine that smoke was difficult to control! For another shoot, I suggest using a mirror floor to show shoe detail. Well done!

' View from Above ' - I want to emphasise this image great layering captured and grey tones with the shadows. If you're interested to pursuing photos like this in a future photoshoot, align any environment within your shot, notice the symmetry that will frame your subject.

This portrait has so many cinematic references with lighting, styling and pose, red is a powerful colour to use for your main light source. I’m certain it draws any viewer in to it. I commend you on the space you've allowed around your subject, too.

Thank you for submitting this photo, great subject captured and colour tones with the close frame and striking red. If you're interested to pursuing portraits like this in a future photoshoot, try using gels with a flash, as this will give more depth.
