I commend your high production use for the result of this image, studio lights, model, and props. Well done, it’s very theatrical and could be experimented further in a portrait format, I suggest collaborating with a stylist and produce a strong portrait series.

Really fun portrait that has many theatrical references with lighting, styling and pose, flash use is a powerful effect to use for a portrait as a backdrop. I’m certain it draws any viewer in to it. I commend you on the framing, and it suits the pose by your model.

Congratulations! This is a tremendous entry, you’ve balanced the lighting so well that it doesn’t over expose your model's features and the main emphasis of the narrative of the sensitivity of pregnancy. Gentle, effective and moving. Really important topics have been discussed here and successfully made into fine art.

I want to highly credit this portrait for its portrait efforts, the pose here with your model, really suits this direction of lighting. The use of aperture is evident with the highlights of your models’ features, unveiling little separation between foreground and back. Great tonals’ too!

I want to emphasise this image as travel narrative, the lighting is strong and moulded well against your subject. I like the tones used here, and thank you for mentioning the production details behind this portrait. Try shooting with an ISO at 800 next time.

I love the cinematic value this landscape shows, heavy intensity between two subjects featured with a city scape towering above. I’d suggest editing the contrast of the sky slightly darker and the car brighter to balance this all out. Well done!

Thank you for entering this contest! This is an excellent entry, I like the tones used here, you’ve also balanced the lighting so well as I can see the overpowering exposure from the sunlight overhead. Very successful for keeping all elements neutral!

I’ve chosen this image to review to further commend your use of detail and balance of light in this portrait as a landscape. There is so much detail in this, but it doesn’t overcrowd the overall purpose of the image. I feel the eyes really connect the view to the portrait, it gives an openness to the visuals.

This is a sweet portrait and interesting framing, with the wide cropping. You've captured a moment which feels special, and the contrast in silhouettes adds an extra detail not many would pick up. I'd suggest editing the foreground lighter to bring more attention to the subject.

This is great documentary style capturing! I appreciate the angle taken here, it feels such a natural approach to portrait photography and creates a warm narrative, we as the viewer feel very included within this narrative. Simple with a great statement!

This image is so reminiscent of the great work of William Eggelston, using shadow as a form of silhouette within landscape and photography, but still showing a strong colour grade. I’m happy you’ve kept the architecture to a minimum amount of detail, and capturing this on a Nikon.

I want to mention this portrait for its cinematic efforts, the colour tones here with your location, really suits this direction of warmth of the image. However, it is slightly grainy, try using a film camera with colour 35 mm film, you will have fun indeed!
