A classic pose for the ages. The additional use of the white frame really elevates the pictures formal attributes and isolates the subject. The light on the face is lovely and well balanced in relation to the outfit and background.. The pose is perfect and well controlled in capturing the hands and gloves in the scene. I love the dark mark above the head which is like a question mark. Overall a wonderful picture well captured.

This is such a calm image. A great example of candid photography. The muted colors work so well within the overall scene with the warm oranges in the mans clothing just elevate him from the background. It's a serene picture. It's not the typical image we expect of the river Ganges and that really makes this photograph stand out. A beautifully observed photograph which is quiet and enthralling to look at. Well done.

This is such a wonderfully exuberant portrait. So many things could have gone wrong but the ability and technical skills of the photographer are on show in this picture. Shooting into the light is always a challenge but the photographer has judged the exposure perfectly and used a fast shutter speed to freeze the water droplets. The expression and incredible highlights created by the light in the hair work so well. The added pop of color from the the hair is just the crowning glory. A lovely candid portrait of pure joy. Well done.

Those stunning blue eyes. This is such a wonderful warm and inviting picture. The colors all controlled from the strawberry dress to the fruit picked. This is a photographer fully in control of the image and concept. We are invited in to pick a strawberry from the warm expression on the girls face. The photographers ability to create a shallow depth of field so the background is thrown out of focus takes great skill and means we center our attention on the main subject. Just lovely. Well done.

The light, the low camera angle. It reminds us all of summer. I love the perfect green circle just behind the dog. It's so abstract but could not be placed any better in the picture. The foreground to background sharpness really adds to the picture as does the warm light and the road that just winds out of shot. This could be a film still from one of those 90s road movies. Just lovely.

This is such a warm spirited candid photograph. What's amazing is how the photographers presence has not been revealed by any of the students looking directly to camera. This picture stands out because we the audience don't see what the children are looking at either maybe the teacher in front of them something that is distracting several others looking over the shoulder. The exposure and quality of light on the faces is lovely as is the tight crop which really means we get close to the scene. A great photograph and wonderfully captured by the photographer. Really well done.

Photography can be difficult whilst showing what is happening on our own doorstep. Mike who must be a well known figure in the area has been photographed with dignity by the photographer who raises questions in this picture. Technically it is stunning, the highlights on the face work so well with the out of focus background meaning that we concentrate on the central figure. this is a picture that is dignified and that is not easy. Well done to the photographer who clearly understands the complexity of the subject. A lovely capture that speaks about the human spirit.

I do really feel i am a float with the others in front of me.. The stunning evening light is wonderfully captured by the photographer who is fully engaged in the activity themselves. The use of a wide angle lens brings into play the waves on the water. The lovely pockets of red really do elevate the photograph. I feel calm and relaxed looking at this. A powerful photograph that is all about the calm and quiet of the subjects. Lovely

The colors work so well together from the greens of the top worn by the individual to the mask and the slightly out of focus background which then allows us the viewer to concentrate on the person in the mask. The tight crop works so well as does the square format. This is a great example of contemporary portrait photography set within the environment. Brilliant.

A great sense of meditation in this photograph. The tight crop really brings the subject alive as we look between the relationship of the sitter to the background. The warm colors work so well and the pose is lovely. This is a great example of the photographer and sitter been happy together and comfortable in each others presence. I love the pose and the modern fit bit on her arm. It really does give a sense of time within the picture. Otherwise a timeless and beautiful image. Well done.

This is a well scene and controlled photograph. I can imagine the photographer on the other side of the river bank to the subjects, just following them until the perfect picture presents itself. The reflections work so well as does the photographer waiting until the last person in the line decided to take a picture of the group. Perfect timing by the photographer. This looks like a classic French painting. Stunning.

Timing is everything and this photograph is perfect in its harmony and composition. We get the iconic Eiffel Tower placed perfectly against the amazing mum and child. The light is incredible and the photographer has worked so hard with exposure which is spot on. What really stands out in this picture for me is that one of the most iconic landmarks in the world plays second fiddle to the incredible composition of the woman and child. Just amazing. Lovely.

The energy in this picture really takes us into the scene. I love the two main characters both on phones which talks about how we move and navigate around cities in this day and age. The high contrast color works so well as does the use of foreground to background sharp focus which means we get to see everything.. I can imagine the noise in this picture and maybe the conversation the man is having. A great street candid photograph. Well done.

This is so perfect and sharp i thought it must be an AI photograph but under closer inspection we get to see the photographers talent at exposure and composition which is really wonderful. The use of the shallow depth of field to isolate the toddler is first rate and really brings out the colors in the clothes against the background. The low eye level really brings our attention to the toddler. This is a great capture and a stunning end result. Well done.
