Cool, gritty and well-considered image. The black-and-white tonality speaks well to the subject. While copyright protection is a serious issue, there are gentler ways of tagging your image without unbalancing the composition. I'd urge you to explore some subtler options. Otherwise a cracking image. Good work.
A poetic and graceful image. It feels (to me) like a dreamscape, a scene from a subconscious in which you cannot quite figure out what's going on but sense that, in some way, it's significant.
Shooting into the light (contre jour) is challenging, but you've handled the situation well, and it adds to the dreamy vibe.
Using a mannequin was an interesting and bold take on the 'people' theme and one that's paid off. The layers of depth (both literal and metaphoric) created by reflections in the window are simply fantastic. The handling of the black and white tones is skilled and accomplished too. Excellent image.
The sense of narrative in this image is super. The act of discarding the crutches with the subject seemingly breaking into a run, along with the image title 'Hope' all help anchor the story. I also love the sense of composition, the intense use of shadows and the lovely reflection in the wet foreground.
This is a striking and accomplished image. This is tricky lighting to work with, and the photographer has handled it with skill, with just enough detail in the subject's face and the confidence to let the highlights go in the background as the light streams into the shot. The glass window makes an excellent frame too.
I am guilty of initially thinking this image might be a mistake, as the handrail obscures most of the subject's face; however, the more I looked at it, the more the image's mysteriousness spoke to me, and the handrail actually feels artfully placed, suggesting an intriguing narrative. The cigarette creates an interesting counterbalance in the frame along with the diagonal lines and greenish hues.
