Quirky, fun and professionally handled. This lovely image oozes vibrant fun. The colour palette speaks eloquently to the subject matter. The shallow depth of field has skillfully created a lovely separation between the subject and the background. All in all, good work! Kep it up.

Simple, bold and confident. The connection between the subject and the perfectly positioned ball in the hoop is stunning. The near-monochromatic vibe and the silhouetted nature of the subject create a poetic and graphic image. It's a lovely photograph; keep up the good work.

Cool, gritty and well-considered image. The black-and-white tonality speaks well to the subject. While copyright protection is a serious issue, there are gentler ways of tagging your image without unbalancing the composition. I'd urge you to explore some subtler options. Otherwise a cracking image. Good work.

A poetic and graceful image. It feels (to me) like a dreamscape, a scene from a subconscious in which you cannot quite figure out what's going on but sense that, in some way, it's significant.
Shooting into the light (contre jour) is challenging, but you've handled the situation well, and it adds to the dreamy vibe.

As the photographer who made this image said in their description,' keep it simple'. Bang on. Portraits do not need to be overly complicated; good portraiture is more about connecting with the subject and revealing something of their personality than about fancy lighting.

This is an accomplished portrait that demonstrates a solid understanding of lighting, tone and composition. The black and white tones have been skillfully controlled. However, it is the wonderfully natural expression that appears to have been teased out the subject that makes this image shine.

Using a mannequin was an interesting and bold take on the 'people' theme and one that's paid off. The layers of depth (both literal and metaphoric) created by reflections in the window are simply fantastic. The handling of the black and white tones is skilled and accomplished too. Excellent image.

The sense of narrative in this image is super. The act of discarding the crutches with the subject seemingly breaking into a run, along with the image title 'Hope' all help anchor the story. I also love the sense of composition, the intense use of shadows and the lovely reflection in the wet foreground.

The low angle of view is an interesting and highly effective approach to this subject. Exploring new angles and thinking beyond eye level is a beautiful way to expand one's creative repertoire, as seen here. The blueish hue and textured layer had to the vibe and also evoke extra layers of meaning.

This is a striking and accomplished image. This is tricky lighting to work with, and the photographer has handled it with skill, with just enough detail in the subject's face and the confidence to let the highlights go in the background as the light streams into the shot. The glass window makes an excellent frame too.

I am guilty of initially thinking this image might be a mistake, as the handrail obscures most of the subject's face; however, the more I looked at it, the more the image's mysteriousness spoke to me, and the handrail actually feels artfully placed, suggesting an intriguing narrative. The cigarette creates an interesting counterbalance in the frame along with the diagonal lines and greenish hues.

This is a lovely and engaging portrait of a shepherd with his flock. Sometimes, it's good to take a step two back and include more of the scene to show context and add to the 'story' - as this image proves. Clever use of leading lines all over the image draws the viewer in.

A nicely seen and captured street portrait. You've got to be quick to capture shots like this, as the moment can be over in a flash. I love the frame that the yellow window of the vehicle creates; not only is this a good framing device, but the yellow and black work well together.

A lovely, quiet moment artfully captured. While smiley shots of kids beaming at a camera can be wonderful, these quiet little moments when the subject is seemingly unaware of the photographer can make beautiful memories. Handling of the tonality is perfect too. Good work!
