What a beautiful moment, artfully captured. The black-and-white treatment, the addition of grain, and even the crop all add to the vibe. The photographer's concern over ethics and privacy in photographing such an intimate moment is noted. As photographers, it's healthy to think of these things and recognise what we're doing. Sometimes, we must make tough decisions. Try to be kind, and you're unlikely to go wrong.
This is an interesting shot and it works well, in the tradition of some approaches to street photography. The gritty, grainy black-and-white treatment suits the subject. You mention that the subject turned away to avoid being photographed which does raise some questions. Some photographers relish this potentially aggressive approach. As previously mentioned in this challenge, take time to consider the implications of your actions and above all, be kind.
This is a mysterious image. I love the sense of narrative and uncertainty about what's going on. The dark tonal palette helps evoke this sense, along with the subject's engaging eye contact. Looking at the background, I'm not convinced this was taken in central Greenland, as the GPS data suggests, but even that adds to the mysteriousness.

Excellent silhouette shot. Shooting into the light (contre jour) is not without its challenges. However, the photographer, in this instance, has handled the situation well. I particularly like that the subjects are clearly interacting with one another, looking at shells of something similar. Lovely work.
