What beautiful golden light from the magic hour! It's ideally suited to the subject, artfully captured, and exquisitely processed. The wide aperture (f/1.8) has created a shallow depth field, rendering a beautifully blurred background which separates it from the subject perfectly.

This is a stunning, bold, and confident portrait. I love the strong, harsh light, which creates lovely graphic shadows. The intensity of the blue sky is sublime. The low angle of view creates a powerful and dynamic vibe, which is balanced by the subject's closed and contemplative eyes.

What an amazing vista! The small but crucially important figure adds a wonderful human presence to the scene and shifts the image from a landscape vibe to an aspirational travel image. The handling of tones and colours, especially as you're shooting towards the light, has been handled well.

As someone who travels frequently and sees many airport lounges while waiting for flights, I can testify that this study skillfully captures the mood and atmosphere of these weird, liminal spaces. I love the warm, yellow tones that add a visceral layer of meaning.

The geometric shapes of the buildings photographed from a high point of view create an interesting and dynamic frame for the protagonists. The subjects are perfectly positioned, and their deadpan expressions work well in the environment and with the cool mono vibe you've evoked through the processing.

Stunning light makes this beautiful portrait shine. It is full of atmosphere. The subject's natural pose and gaze give the image authenticity and a sense of narrative. This image leaves the viewer asking questions, a sign of a good picture in my opinion

When I 'read' this image, I feel echoes of existential angst reverberating around its narrative, as if the subject is somehow the protagonist of an Albert Camus novel. The simplicity and unconventional composition is inspired and sublime. Great work! Keep it up.

Fantastic control of exposure to capture a wonderful portrait of this monk. The 'rim' light has created a perfect separation between the subject and the black background. The black-and-white conversion and handling of the tonality have been skillfully realised. Good work.

This is another lovely image in this round that exploits the golden glow of the magic hour. I like the bold approach to the composition, with the subject in a unique position. I wonder about the apples at the top of the frame. Do they suggest the Garden of Eden?

I find the almost abstract arrangement of shapes in this intriguing image a delight. It almost feels like a Mondrian painting. The bicycle and gentleman break up the geomagnetic lines, adding a human presence and sense of narrative. Great colour palette, too!

Looking down from above has created a bold and graphic image; the figure wearing blue with a green umbrella contrasts well with the snow. Photographing snow is challenging; capturing the whiteness without losing detail requires some skill; perhaps a half-stop lighter, if I'm being picky, would have helped. Otherwise, this is a beautifully seen scene.

There's a lovely gentleness to this idyllic country scene. The character on the left sitting down and observing the fair adds a sense of narrative. The exposure has been skillfully controlled by mixing, movement and energy with stillness and calm. Clever.

This powerful and engaging image is made all the more poignant after reading the back story in the caption. The integration between the subject and the tree is interesting; although I'm not convinced the zoom effect was necessary, it's a strong enough image without it. Excellent work!

The clever and skilful control of mixed-coloured lighting works well in this accomplished studio shot. However, the cool vibe of the subject, along with their seemingly nonchalant groove and deadpan gaze, makes the image a winner. Great job! Keep up the good work.

I love this portrait. It has echoes (to me) of the Italian painter and sculptor Modigliani's style, with its elongated and graceful lines and focus on emotional expression. The colour palette and handling of the tones have been skillfully rendered, too. All in all, it is a top-notch portrait. Good work!
