The symmetry of this bold and confident composition is dynamic and engaging. I love it. The black and white conversion is spot on and suits the subject perfectly. The protagonist walking away from the photographer adds to the narrative and helps create a compelling story.

Love the minimal, mysterious groove in this thought-provoking image. The title, Lose Myself, adds to the story and invites myriad interpretations. The muted colour palette and simple composition enhance this feeling and exude a peaceful sense of contemplation. Lovely work.

The cool colour palette, smoky atmosphere and penetrating gaze in this bathroom drama have been artfully captured and realised. Great to see a photographer exploring their own style, as mentioned in the caption. Good work. Looking forward to seeing more.

Love the layers in this image, literally an image of two halves. A vibrant, busy and colourful scene fills the upper half, exuding a dynamic human presence, while the lower half shows the brown River Thames. What could the metaphorical meaning be?

What a lovely silhouette. I particularly appreciate how the head of the fisherman is placed below the horizon line; this subtle but crucial decision makes all the difference to the composition. I also like the way the subject is positioned in the centre of the frame.

There is a good reason why photographers often make images during the golden hours, early morning and late evening, when the warm, low light creates a beautiful glow. As seen here, shooting towards the light (sometimes called contre jour) is a great way to take advantage of it. Just look at the lovely rim light on the subject’s hair.

The voyeuristic viewpoint of looking in, through the glass window, creates a wonderful sense of authenticity. A genuine moment captured. The blurred shape on the left is a clever framing device and adds to the story and a sense of depth. Good work.

An engaging and dynamic portrait that uses light and composition to great effect. The unusual angle of view, looking down on the subject, is an interesting approach that works well and helps create a sense of story, especially with the use of water.

Love the cool vibes bouncing around the frame of this clever shot. Despite the laidback groove, the formal approach to the composition works a treat. The shape of the subject's back and the skateboard are beautifully harmonised.. The warm mono conversation has a lovely Selenium-toned-esque tint.

Wow, I simply love the clever and cunning use of light and shadow in this striking composition. The imposing shadow on the wall is beautifully seen and captured. The light has been skillfully controlled and artfully converted to black and white.

Lovely use of line, light, shape and contrast to create a compelling and dynamic portrait. The low angle of view was inspired and adds strength to the composition. The muted, but vibrant intensity of the colours plays to the gritty vibe. Kudos.

Excellent use of dappled light to create a sense of depth and atmosphere. Dappled light is often considered a challenge for portrait photographers, but when handled well, it can be very effective, as seen here. Combined with the thoughtful pose, it makes for a strong image.

While there may be no face in this portrait, there is a great deal that the ink on the subject's arm can tell us. I love how this approach challenges the perceived wisdom of what a portrait should be. The monochrome conversion has been well crafted.

Wow, what a vibrant, fun and dynamic picture. The intense red and orange hues pack a punch. However, it is the clever use of framing through the crowd that draws the viewer in. And the joyful expression of the main subject is the icing on the cake.

There seems to be something achingly poetic about this stark, minimalist urban scene, with a subtle but poignant human presence in the middle of the frame. The washed-out black and white tones speak to the concrete vibes with quiet eloquence. Love it. Good work.
