The lone figure with their back to the camera, sitting on a bench viewing a stunning landscape, invites us as the viewer to share and engage with the experience in a way that we wouldn't if the subject were looking at the camera. I love this more thoughtful and considered approach.

I love the way you've incorporated the spectators into the frame and rendered them as a dark, silhouetted presence. The crisp lines of the diving platform add a dynamic twist to the composition, while the diver, the icing on the cake, captured mid-dive, is perfectly positioned. A really well-seen image."

This is a beautiful, heartwarming and tender moment that has been wonderfully captured. The mono treatment works well and gives the image a documentary feel, but it is the smile and connection that makes it shine. Sorry for your loss.

The deadpan vibe in this excellent frame is simply splendid. The dull, drab weather, formal composition and cold colour palette all play to this, but the two figures, separated by a wall and alone on their devices, add a compelling layer to the story. Good work!

It seems like this party was conducive to a creative frenzy. I love the way the multiple exposure captures the hedonistic vibe of an Abba-inspired bash. Fun memories captured uniquely and creatively. The layering gives the image a sense of joy and depth

Looking to the history of photography and the work of the masters is a great way to learn the craft and develop a style. I can see echoes of Avedon in here (note, it's Richard, not David) and this is a really engaging image. The black-and-white treatment, pose and engagement all work perfectly. I'd love to see where you take this..."

What a lovely and well-captured moment. The artist at work in Barcelona makes for a much more engaging interpretation of the place than a standard tourist shot. The mono treatment is a nice touch and adds a nostalgic vibe. It's always good to try and look beyond the tourist gaze. Good work.

The vibrance simply oozes off this image. The low angle of view and streak of light all add to the colourful bonanza, giving a dynamic, energised sense of carnival. The blue sky, reds and yellows work harmoniously together, and the direct gaze of the subject is the icing on the cake.

An unusual take on a portrait, but one that works. Clever use of a shallow depth of field to create some separation between the subject and the background. The black-and-white treatment works well too, along with the central, pyramid structure to the composition. A confident and considered image.

The explosive energy in this spectacular image is stunning. As well as being beautifully and cleverly lit, the decisive moment has been artfully captured and the swirls of multi-coloured powder look simply sublime. Timing, lighting and composition all working in perfect harmony. Good work!"

The romantic tone of this impressive image is on fire. The soft, low-raking light adds to this vibe and also creates a wonderful rim light. The warm gold light obviously adds romantic undertones too. The inclusion of the horses is a nice touch. I bet the couple were very happy with this. Good work.

I'm immediately drawn to the nostalgic, almost vintage vibe of the muted, bluish-hued colour palette. It's a palette that works particularly well with this subject matter. The portrait itself has a great sense of connection with the subject. A confident image with presence.

This silhouette works extremely well. It's not easy shooting against the light like this (or if you want to sound fancy, shooting contre jour) but you've managed to do it with skill. Paying careful attention to the shapes the silhouette makes is vital, and the way you've done it adds to the story.

The sense of stillness and movement in this bold and confident image is impressive. While the obvious movement of the train gives energy, there's a stillness to the main protagonist. The two together create an interesting dialogue. Skilfully captured. Good work.
