Northern Lights

A true winner! I like Aurora Borealis that has Purple light as well with the normal Green ones. This gives so much of punch to the image. Composition wise this images is outstanding! There is a town/city far on the Horizon in the background, A church in the foreground and beautiful Aurora in the sky. Very well captured and well-thought image. Congratulations!

A superb composition! The aurora itself is a great subject to capture. But the photographer here has managed to not only capture the Aurora, but also the foreground, which is equally important. Beautiful Aurora Borealis at the Iconic Jokulsarlon Glacier lagoon. I loved the concept of having the ice in the foreground for the image. Very good composition. I liked the composition and mood in this image. The curved lines of the lake in the foreground together with the branches of a tree with no leaves on it create nice drama in the image. Also, this aurora picture has purple light as well, which together with the green light, always adds punch to the aurora. Congratulations!
