Lovely use of colour, the yelllows and light blues compliment each other, the image just jumps off the screen, I like the large oil circle taking up half the image on the left surrounded by smaller circles, overall sharpness is good, just a couple of rogue blurry oil drops but a fantastic job, well done.
Another image that struck me when I saw it, at first I thought it was little too dark, but I kept going back to look at it, the more I looked the more I saw, the coloured background becoming more focused as the oil drops get smaller and disapating in the larger drops. The darkness surrounding the colours draws you in, a fabulous example.

I've just recently tried my hand at this type of photography, the results can be amazing. All you need is a clear glass bowl, water, washing up liquid and cooking oil. Add a backdrop, maybe colourful wrapping up paper, coloured feathers, or basically anything colourful. Ideally a macro lens or extension tubes, or for an alternative try a reversing ring to turn your current lens into a macro. Check the internet for oil and water inspiration. Have fun with it.
