Show me your photos of one artist or craftsperson in action. Photos should show one person creating, whether it be knitting, painting, sculpture, woodwork etc; whatever is a personal creative focus. Photos should be about one person in the process of creating a piece of art or craft. Please do not include big or commercial machinery and tools, although small personal equipment such as sewing machines, knitting needles, hand drills, potters wheels, and the like, are welcome and encouraged if they are shown being used. Photos should show a person actively engaged in their art or craft so please do not enter photos just showing arts and crafts products.
Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.
Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
