One Wild Bird on a Wooden Post (in colour)

There was quit a few entries of Seagulls, but this one got my top vote, I like the overall feel of this photo it just screams that it was taken by the sea with the Seagull resting on the wooden post probably looking out to sea. Not quit sure what the wooden posts are used for with the chain around them but it certainly fits the brief. Well done in getting 1st place.

What a great shot of this Nuthatch climbing done a post towards some blackberry's, it's a well timed shot with his head leaning towards the blackberry's with a lovely defocused background, I also like the texture and detail shown on the post.

Well done in getting 3rd place.

This shot of a Kestrel would have got into my top ten if it wasn't for the colours being too over saturated, "sorry but the colours are just to strong for me", I would have preferred it if the colours were toned down a bit. But well done in getting a highly commended.

What a great shot of a Spoonbill on a wooden post, judging by the look of the post he might be a regular visitor, the defocused background really shows the spoonbill off and the aperture you used was spot on showing all the Spoonbill from back to front nicely sharp.

Well done in getting 4th place.,
