Making good street photography is never easy. Making a great street photography is for few photographers !! This is an amazing photograph for me. The most beautiful urban photography I've seen in this contest. The lights are incredible and the contrasts make this image a masterpiece of technique, composition and atmosphere. I wonder if the light source is natural or if, instead, it comes from an artificial source. In any case a pleasure for the eyes. If the contest had a theme related to street photography would have won without any obstacle, but being the theme connected to the orange colour I preferred to give priority to two beautiful photographs in which THE COLOUR IS ALL. You are my bronze medal but this photograph, believe me, will give you great satisfaction !! Thank you my friend for having delighted us with this wonder. I'll follow you ... ;)
Without realizing it, although I am a photographer who likes to create and observe stories through photography, I found myself selecting many abstract or minimal images where colors and shapes dominate the scene. This image immediately caught me for its delicacy and clarity in representing this wonderful bird in an unconventional way. It is very easy to fall into banality when photographing very common subjects but you have been able to go beyond the schemes, creating a visual delight that I would see very well in large format on a white wall. I am very happy to be able, thanks to you, to include a naturalistic image among the winning photos.
Congratulations on your award dear friend!
After a difficult selection of over 2500 photographs, I chose this photograph of yours as the winner of the "Orange" contest! Congratulations for this great triumph!
The reason for this choice is due to the fact that you have been able to grasp the theme of the competition better than all the other competitors, creating a perfect image from all points of view. I love the texture of the background, which I suppose is the outer keel of a ship, the colours you've captured and the balanced and well-arranged geometry. Even the colours and brightness are perfect. The black ladder and its shadow complete a very nice minimal composition that immediately breaks the eyes: I would see this work very well on a large white wall!
With this image you have shown, as well as being a great photographer, to have a great eye and that you do not need to make an elaborate composition to create a great photograph, but only serves a great eye and attention to detail that only few have.
I will follow your work in the future with much interest! Thank you for enriching this contest with this magnificent image!

This is the kind of photo that a judge would like to see in a contest like this, where colours dominate the scene. But colours are not enough to make a photograph great: this contest is full of photos with beautiful colours... but only 10 have received a top award ;)
What, in this case, has made the difference is your ability to capture a minimal frame full of geometry and points of interest with a beautiful background texture.
The shades of orange you catch here had completely embrace the aims of this contest.
Finally, the presence of the double street lamp adds a very interesting compositional touch without which the image would not have had the same balance.
You are my silver medal ! Congratulations !
It was very difficult to determine which among the first three positions were the most touching. It was a great inspiration to admire you, and for this I thank you.

Orange is one of the most vibrant colours on the spectrum, but it can also be muted to earthy, dusty shades that are present in all corners of the natural world. In short, this is a colour to really have some fun with; a warm and compelling colour with almost limitless associations. Use it sparingly or let it completely take over your composition - the choice is yours! Show us what you can do with the colour "Orange".

As happened in other cases, even this pleasant photograph (knowing the place) is - in my opinion - off topic because the predominant color is not orange but brown. The image is undoubtedly worthy of mention but has been excluded from the prizes (it would not have been among the first 10) for this reason. Thanks anyway to have participated.
Wow this picture is really wonderful! The game of shapes and textures that you have been able to create is really strong! The face of the dog that emerges from the leaves with the same colour is brilliant. Unfortunately, from my point of view, the colour of the leaves is brown and not orange so I could not put you among the winners, despite this picture is among my favourites. Thanks for showing us this beautiful image!
Dear user, when participating in a photo contest I think it is right to do it with a minimum of seriousness and application. I do not discuss the technical and compositional level of your image, although afflicted by numerous problems, but I refer to the fact that you did not think to remove the date from the settings of your camera! This, I think, denotes a very poor application during shooting ... I do not understand why take part in a photographic contest with these premises ... My advice, if your interest is to improve your skills, is to pay more attention to "details" ... I chose your photo to move this criticism but I could take many others for example. Thanks anyway for your participation.
This photograph is stunning! You entered in "the scene" by transmitting us all into this mystical moment... Flames, although a very important part of the composition, are the frame of this photography and reinforce the sense of place and of the surrounding environment. The expression of the woman is very intense and integrates perfectly with the story you told us. Thank you so much for this subscription but unfortunately I have not rewarded it cause the orange colour, in my opinion, is not the key element .... but I appreciated your work!
