This is a lovely picture that really stands out to me. I love the golden brown coloring of not only the background, but the owl also. It really makes the photo cohesive and attractive to the eye. Also, I have to say, I like the one yellow leaf on the log. It ties into the background and fits the autumn theme nicely. Well done all around.

This is such a cute capture, well done. I like how the owl is situated so perfectly in the photo. I also love the grey and brown color scheme and the vignette that appears very natural if it isn't. Keep up the amazing work.

This photo is razor sharp, I absolutely love it. The texture of the bird as well as his striking color is absolutely beautiful. He doesn't clash with his surroundings but at the same time he stands out very well. Keep up the amazing work.

This photo was very well done, good job. I love the deep color of the background and how well the bird stands out against it. It still looks natural despite the contrast. The position of the bird is lovely and he looks very sharp. Keep up the great work.

This is a great image, it really catches the eye from the moment you see it. I like how the bird fits so well into the tree. You can tell that the position of both the bird and the photographer are spot on. This owl looks very majestic and he strikingly stands out against his surroundings. Very well done.

I really like how clear and at the same time, how smooth this picture is. From the background to the bird itself. I find this photo to be very appealing and I love how you were able to take this picture head on at eye level. Very well done.

It is clear from the moment you look at this photo how much work it took. You had to have the perfect setting and the perfect angle. You accomplished both beautifully. I love the dominant white that allows for the owl's eyes to draw the viewer's immediate attention. What a great job, very well done.

This is definitely one of the more unique photos in the contest. I appreciate the coloring and background that sets it apart. I like how the tree takes up the whole frame and how you applied the rule of thirds to this photo. Well done, keep up the good work.

This is a lovely photo, and the lighting gives off almost a romantic feeling. The bird is very crisp and the background is very beautiful. It appears to be dead leaves and branches but it is suitable for this photo. Well done, keep up the great work.

This photo is so adorable, I love owls in the snowfall. The setting is perfect and looks almost whimsical - from the mossy branch to the unique owl. His eyes stand out beautifully and his coloration makes him fit so snuggly into the picture. Very good job.

This is truly a great picture, I love the bricks and the blur that frames in the bird. The photo stands apart from many owl pictures and the unique setting is very nice. Well done, keep up the great work.

How can you not help but smile when you see this photo? Not only is it adorable, but the composition is spot on. The background neither clashes nor takes away from the bird. He actually stands out beautifully and his position is engaging. This is very well done. Great job and congratulations.

This is a picture that jumped out at me. I actually really like the lighting. You can tell the time and almost feel the frosty air. You can also imagine how the early morning lighting could have made it hard to capture such a picture. All in all, it was well done. Great work.

This is a great photo and has its own unique qualities that separate it from many other owl pictures. I like the shapes that are involved and how almost all of the brown exists in the one triangle. The owl has neatly placed himself in a third of both the picture and the window. Overall, well done.

While the owl isn't a large subject in this photo, I do find it very lovely. The spotty bokeh adds a neat touch and the clarity is spot on. You did very well with this photo, keep up the great work.

This photo is definitely one that captures the attention. I absolutely love the halo effect around the owl. It lets off a sense of serenity. The striking clarity and the smooth, dark background is lovely. You really caught the perfect moment. Congratulations, very well done.

I love how the barn owl is placed on a very ironic perch. It really gives off a pleasant feel, from the position of the bird to the grey and green in the photo. It is well composed. Very well done, keep up the great work.

Now this is one lovely photo, very well done. I love how striking the foreground is. The gravestone, while dark, does not take away from the owl. He is the clear focal point and a stunning one at that. Altogether it is just stunning. Keep up the amazing work.

This is such a great picture, and it really stands out from many other photos in the contest. The sandy landscape is lovely, especially considering the color of the bird. He is the clear focal point, yet the colors flow so nicely together. Well done.

I really love the position of everything in this photo. While the owl shares a similar color with the wood, his crosswise position is what makes him really stand out in my eyes. The bokeh and coloring is lovely, very good work.

Now this photo is just beautiful. All of the components do it justice. The bird doesn't compete too much with the brightly colored berries and has its own clear section in the photo. The colors are really lovely, especially the unique yellow/green of the fence post. Very well done.

Very lovely photo, I like how you were able to capture this owl in the darkness. I am happy to see a photo that really shows off the owl in his natural setting. Good job, keep up the good work.
