Pair of Birds of the Same Species

I absolutely love this photo! The red eyes really pop against the blue feathers of the two birds. And the timing of the crisscross is perfect; it makes it look like a single face with the two eyes. The focus and clarity is great! This was a competitive contest...well done and congratulations!
