Parachutes in Use

The use of a letter box crop has suited this image of the Vulcan landing with parachute. You have panned sufficiently to capture the sensation of speed with the background while the subject is captured so I can see the details on the squadron badges . A very good capture of a much missed aircraft

You have captured the moment of touchdown and the dynamic situation the use of a suitable shutter speed and depth of field has created a good image and the colours are well balanced without any burn out on the whites, there is also a good composition with space for the parachutist to move into. Well done

This image of two silhouetted jumpers against a sunset is very dramatic and caught my eye. The use of contra-jour lighting means that although I can’t see individual details it doesn’t matter as the shrouds and drought chutes show up and there is dead space that the parachutist can move into a very nice image

This is a well put together triptych showing the dynamics of using a braking parachute to slow a modern jet fighter, the sequence shows the chute through deployment to opening and captures the spirit of the contest as well as not being the usual take on the parachutist. By using a triptych you have told the story as well congratulations

I liked the way you framed the jumpers and aircraft with the trees as it has captured the spirit of a wartime jump. The main critique I would make is that the propeller blades seem @@almost static ( on my screen) but it is a minor but a very good capture
