Caught my attention straight away and I wanted to know what they were looking at!
It's an overall interesting photograph that captures the activity of this particular bird.
Good clarity and a sharp image. Well done

I'm not a big fan of close-ups because I like to see the whole of the bird. The eye reflection on this shot is brilliant and coupled with the overall clarity on the photo made this a shot that I kept returning to. Grat depth of fields and the nice green background suits the subject.
It deserves a commendation, well done
The same comments apply as those on the photograph 'Tufted Titmouse 6.12.20 Portrait 2'. In my opinion the background is a distraction bottom right and I think that this could have been removed post -processing. I have also commended this photo as the clarity of the shot is excellent and like the other I kept coming back to it. Again, well done.

I like the pose and the sharpness of the image is excellent. No distracting background achieved with good depth of field..
I've never seen this bird and the information you provided was interesting. Close to a Top 10, well done

I particularly liked this photo because the positioning of the bird using the rule of two thirds is ideal and draws your eye to what it is looking at. The overall clarity of the shot is excellent and the depth of field, f/4 at 560mm ensures that there is no distraction from the blue tit. Congratulations

In this contest I would like to see your colour photos of any bird classified in the family of small passerines called Paridae. This includes tits, chickadees and titmice. Please identify the bird in the title or description and it would be of benefit to the contest if you could write in the image title or description where the photo was taken. Photographs must be colour only please. I look forward to seeing your photos.
Thank you for entering a photo into this Contest which was for tits, chickadees, and titmice who constitute the Paridae, a large family of small passerine birds which occur mainly in the Northern Hemisphere and Africa. This doesn’t fit the brief as the fairywren (Malurus splendens) whilst it is a passerine bird, belongs in the Australasian wren family, Maluridae. It's a great image, nice and sharp with ideal depth of filed and background
Whilst it doesn't fit the brief I am commending it as the photo is clear and sharp and I like the way it is centrally framed rather than using the two-thirds rule.
