Patterns and repetition

**Open to photographers with a ranking outside the top 1000. There are two other 'Patterns and repetition' contests currently open to other ranks. Take a look at the <a href="https://www.photocrowd.com/leaderboard/">leaderboard</a> for more information on Photocrowd rankings.** Both artificial and naturally-occurring patterns offer the photographer great opportunities for some dramatic and eye-catching shots. Patterns are repeated shapes, colours or objects, and can be found just about everywhere – transforming even the blandest of scenes. The first step to photographing patterns is to find them, then it's up to you to manipulate them to your advantage. Good luck!
