Penguins in the Wild (in colour)

First of all, thanks for entering my contest. This photo you have taken here is very interesting. I really like how you have captured these penguins in a way that it shows you their emotions and sort of what they are thinking. I like how they are looking around at stuff and each one is looking in a different direction. And the shadows from the penguins look very cool as well. So wonderful job on this photo, I love the way you have captured these penguins!

I love how hard the snow is blowing, it makes the whole photo look stunning and adds wonder all over to the image.

I also love the looks on both of the penguin's faces. The baby looks like it does not really care about the snow, and the mom looks like she does not care either, but is very worried about her baby as if it is okay and warm enough. Penguins have so much feathers that I think they do not mind the cold very much so that is why they look so relaxed.

I also love the effect you have given to this photo, you have made it High Key, but also have added a Dreamy Effect to it as well, I really love is especially how the sky looks baby blue.

I like how nice the blue sky looks, it is a dim, light blue color and makes everything stand out nicely. I also like how evenly the colorful necks on the penguins are! They are so close together, that it makes a cool line with the colors. And what else is cool, is that the penguins have their wings out and yes, it could be looked at as the penguins are saying "Get out of my way", but to me, I look at it as them stretching out their wings and it is like they are saying "This is our territory" or something like that. It is hard to interpret exactly what they look like they are saying, but it is just really cool how they look. So awesome job with this photo and taking a photo good enough for Second Place!

Another thing that is cool is how this image has literally no color except grey and white in it, the penguins are the only thing that has color. Without them, this photo would be black and white! But the thing I like the most, is how the main subject of the image (the penguin walking out of the water) is walking with a proud look on its face! He looks so funny because he looks like he is saying "I did it!" and is all proud of himself. You got very lucky to get sheep AND a penguin together. This is very cool and made this photo really REALLY stand out compared to all of the other penguin photos for this contest!

I also really like how you have taken this photo from ground level view because this makes the photo look even better!

And the last thing that I should add is that the background is nice with how the Depth of Field is Shallow, but not so shallow as to where it is blurred into almost nothing, you can make out that there are more hills and you can even tell that there is a road or something down below with the faint orange lines, I really love how you made this image look like this (or maybe you just got lucky with the Depth of Field) because it makes you look at the image even more than you would by trying to figure out what is in the background.

I love how the penguin chick is hungry and wants to eat, it is like the baby is so hungry, that it is too impatient and the mother is like "Hold on guy!" like it is shocked at how hungry it is! This is what I like the most about this photo! Also, the nice white background in High Key makes this photo look great especially how the adult penguin's coat blends in perfectly with the white background! So amazing job on this photo and capturing the funny expression of these two penguins!

I can tell that it is very hard for these penguins to walk down these mountains! I also really like the nice blue background, it is not striking blue and does not need to be, just a plain, simple blue with white from the snow. And it is also cool how the penguin has white everywhere, but in just a very few spots, it has black when looking at it from this angle which makes this photo have three colors. Blue Black and White.
