This image stood out immediately, its the combination of the composition, also the use of silhouette and works perfectly with the theme of the rural workers and their work apparatus. It's a powerful black and white image and has a wonderful sense of movement which is reflected in the sense of movement from the water as well. Beautiful capture!

I was drawn to this image due to the combination of the drama of the black and white, dramatic clouds and domineering architecture, which is in stark contrast to the very modern feel to the main subject being distracted by her phone. The sense of motion through the images works well and builds on the dramatic effect!

Beautifully captured, from the lighting to the expression to the composition. There is a wonderful narrative here and a great sense of motion and purpose. The tones of the image are also cinematic which creates a sense of peace and stillness. Is it twilight or pre-dawn? A valuable insight into another world!

This image interested me as it has a feeling of vintage image whilst clearly being a modern image The composition work so well to draw your eye along the girls before coming to the phone and the expression of the younger girl, perhaps she is looking up to the other girls. This image has an abundance of character and depth.

This image is really interesting but I feel it could have benefited from a wider perspective to give it more narrative and to show the scale of the amazing turban. The colours are amazing and a great capture of connection from both subjects. I can see and understand why the main point of interest was the male lead subject but a wider perspective could have elevated it to a whole new level. Regardless, this image is a fantastic capture of a rare moment!
