Pets Running in Colour (no people)

Thank you for entering your photograph of On the loose, these three obviously get on well together and must be great fun to be with. The photograph gives a real sense of friendship and camaraderie. The capture is great with the flying ears and feet off the ground. Something which isn’t obvious from the first time you see this photograph is the early morning dew on the ground, your eyes are drawn to the gang running towards you but the colour from the dew enhances the photo greatly, you can even see the dew flying in air as they run. Thank you to everyone who entered my contest. The dogs certainly had the greatest showing. There was an abundance of excellent photographs and this has been reflected in the number of commended awards.

The judge winner is this amazing capture, the expression on Harris’s face is wonderful, in the split second you had to get out of the way you managed to get a fantastic movement shot, the back ground is nicely blurred so as not to distract from the star subject.
