Digital Camera Photographer of the Year is back for 2019 with an amazing £30,000 prize fund up for grabs. This year the awards are free to enter thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, mpb.com and Affinity Photo.
Enter up to four images for free in each category. Digital Camera readers can enter a fifth image by entering the code you’ll find in the current edition of the magazine.
Winners will also be featured in Digital Camera magazine and sister publications, plus exposure through our social media. Not only that, get your work exhibited at The Photography Show and an invitation to the special gala reception.
This year the awards are completely free to enter, and photographers 25 years and younger can take part in both the main awards AND Young Photographer of the Year.
For the overall winner the judges will be looking for a standout photographer who has not only won a round (or several) but has also demonstrated a range of skills and visual awareness in different categories.
Digital Camera Photographer of the Year is a major competition to discover exciting and talented photographers. With some great prizes to be won (courtesy of mpb.com, Rohan, Sony, Rotolight and Cewe), pro judges will choose winners across themed categories, as well as the overall winner.
Young photographers (25 and under) have their own division within each category. Your work will be judged by the same judges with a fresh set of prizes to be won, and a chance to be crowned the overall Digital Camera Young Photographer of the Year 2019. (You can also enter the main competition as well as this one.)
