Firstly, thank you for entering my challenge. What appeals to me mostly in this image is the story that this face could tell. One feels that once his stories begin to unfold -it would be impossible to stop listening. So much character captured in a single image - this is a reflection of many years of hardship and struggle. With a single split second click of a camera one can feel more than a few seconds captured but instead rather a whole lifetime. Congratulations and well done!

The subject also tends to be caught unawares which tends to promote the ability to catch undetected emotions. His outfit blends perfectly into the background grunge and is most appealing. Firstly.thank you for entering my challenge. What is most appealing again in this image is how emotions have been caught off guard. The sidelong glance makes one wonder what her thought processes involve . The simplicity of the image is a drawcard as well as the subtle nudity.The contrast of bare shoulders against the warmth of a woollen hat makes one linger longer than usual on the image. What appeals to me mostly is the fact that the subject is caught unawares of the camera as depicted in his sidelong glance-in this way more emotions tend to be evoked than usual.The combination of the turban and the way it blends into the coourful background is most appealing and tends to draw one into the image- this makes one linger for a few seconds longer on the image than would normally be the case.
