Portraits of colour with texture

I just love the creativity in this image, the photographer has been able to create a piece of individually. I liked the combination of colour's, use of textures against the contrasty sky.

When I looked at this image, it made me smile and think of a girl flying and being guided by a balloon.

This image stood out for many reasons as the winning image.

The picture itself is beautifully composed, the light is incredible! This talented Photographer has managed to maintain sharpness and detail on all the subjects without compromising the quality.

The capture of the Mongoose family tells a story,- Mum is multi tasking and feeding her young and also connecting with the Photographer. The others are on guard protecting and keeping a look out. look at mum trying reassure her feeding babies with her claws.

I adore the muted tones and the overall subtle tones in the image! The natural texture of the soil and the texture of their coats really add to the image.

and last of all the moment that you have captured is so beautiful, personal and natural.

Lovely composition, I love the way you have used the edge as a leading line to draw your eyes straight to the subject.

The bird is looking at his reflection but looks confused in expression " Is it me, or is it you?" I liked the fun aspect of the image and the confused look on the birds face. Good use of texture and colour's and blending the tones. Overall a very pleasing image. Well done

A very striking portrait, the lighting is spot on and you have managed to balance the image and make it symmetrical. I love the make up and really think that it adds to the image making it a great fashion portrait.

I like the way you have edited the image and not overdone the models skin and maintaining texture.

The only thing I think would improve the image would be to even out the shoulders so they are even to make it more symmetrical and pleasing to the eye. Overall excellent image, well done
