The lighting in the image is simply beautiful. I love the orange glow, which is complimented perfectly with the dark shadows. Her red dress works so well and fits in so well with the colour toning. Well done for coming 2nd place!

Congratulations for being in my top 10. I liked how this image was different that many of the images submitted with the way he is almost silhouetted by the window. But you have just left enough detail for him to be not. Well done for the view on the outside not being over exposed too. I love the lighting that is falling onto the stairs too. Well Done!

Congratulation for being in my top 10. This image is simply beautiful. I love how soft the lighting is, but it still gives a beautiful range of black and white tones. The slight reflection of her elbow works nicely and is much better than seeing too much reflection in my opinion. Her pose is perfect, relaxed and her gaze is in the perfect direction. Well done.

Well done of becoming my first place winner of this competition. This image has possibly been over looked my many, but the story it gives is genius. The man sitting, looking like he is awaiting a coffee, looking like he is in a terrible mood. But on the window it says, And Leave with a smile. Showing that he will gain his smile when he leaves after a coffee. Well done for spotting this and believing it would be a great image to take. It is very clever and it really is a great image.

What a brilliant image of People sat by a window. Although you can't see the people properly, it still hits the brief perfectly with the added mystery of who the people are. Your composition is also perfect.

The fact that you have kept the open doorway in the images makes me as a viewer want to jump into the image and see the people on the other side of the window.
