Portraits of People Wearing Hats

Congratulations on being in my top 10. This is an amazing portrait of a man wearing a hat! The sharpness is just incredible. I love that you have managed to get him to look deep into the lens of the camera. His bloodshot eyes really tell a story and make you look at them. Brilliant image! Well done.

Child portraits are generally really hard to get and this one is a really well composed one. His pose, eye contact and expression really makes the photo. His hat he wears is also adorable. The depth of field is brilliant and really makes him stand out. I would of really loved a slightly tighter crop though. I feel there is a slight too much headspace at the top. Other than that it is a brilliant image. Well Done

Congratulations for coming 1st place in my competition. Everything about this portrait is wonderful. The expression on her face just draws you in and you just cant stop stairing into those eyes. I think the hat plays a big part to the photograph. It is very mix match and doesn't really match her outfit. Which in a fashion photograph wouldnt work. But with the fact it was a non staged photo. It does. The lighting is also wonderful, I love how she is lit but the background is dark behind her. Well done on a brilliant image.

Her hand placement is perfect, eye contact great and you did a great job capturing the smoke. Lovely use of depth of field and the lighting is soft and flattering for the girl in the photo. Congratulations for being in my top 10. I love you wonderful use of colour match. The red lipstick goes perfectly with the hat. You have done a great job with the lighting, creating that shadow that goes across the one side of her face. Well done!

This is a brilliant portrait of someone wearing a hat. I love his style, relaxed pose of hand on his cheek and I love his expression. This could have easily gone into my top 10, but I felt it needed a little more highlight in his eyes to really make you look at them. Otherwise a great image!
