Puddles

Brief
This contest is created and judged by a member of the Photocrowd community. Want to run your own? Find out more >

A puddle is a small pool of water on the ground, usually caused by rainfall. In this contest I would like to see your best images showing puddles. You could decide to show a wider landscape or streetscape where puddles feature, maybe shot from an interesting angle such as low to the ground, or you could focus more closely on the water itself. However, please make sure the water in the image is obviously a puddle on the ground and not studio-type water splash photography, rivers or lakes etc. Settings can range from urban to rural, and entries could work well in either colour or black and white. I look forward to seeing your entries.

How it works

Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.

Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
