This image certainly wins my vote for creativity. I'm not great at composites but truly admire the creativity and skill of those that do them. I can't really fault this image in any way and love the lighting. The only niggle I can find is the size. When viewing on a high resolution monitor it only fills half the screen and needs to be about 3000 x 3000 pixels. but fortunately this is such a strong image that I ignored it. Congratulations on such a great selfie!

Although I am familiar with this image I have never had a chance to judge it and it is one of my favourites. I make no apology for picking another selfie composite because I so admire the skill and time they take to make plus the story telling the images provide. The close up and sharp amusing face provides a powerful impact of depth against the gradually softening image of a Victorian style classroom. The apple is a great finishing touch. Congratulations on 3rd place.

Not every portrait needs to be a serious work of art. The photo needs to portray an unusual look that could be comical or theatrical in its result, that includes faces such as "sinister", "shock" or "angry" to name but a few. Many of us have those fun or even accidental shots where the subject produces an unexpected result. From home snaps to journalistic images of the famous, a moment is often captured that results in a comical or unflattering image. You could even try a self portrait. Colour or monochrome images are both accepted. I hope you have fun with this one and I look forward to seeing the results.
