Race Horses

Though this image is of the horse during a flat straight section, it still has drama and power to it. I love the rich tones and colours of the horses and jockeys along with the fantastic quality of the horses which are pin sharp and beautifully detailed. I like how they have space to race into and the focus on the jockeys faces. A great image, well done.

WOW this image is different. You have chosen to shoot this in a really unique and creative way. Not only is this on brief but it is really interesting too. Your creativity and willingness to step away from the norm has really paid off. This is a sharp, well composed and toned image. I love the people on the left which lead you along the track and to the horses at the end. It's amazing how the horses seem to blend into a heat haze too. A lovely image, well done.

Though this shows no real action it has a lot of deep emotional power. You get a real sense of the tension and concentration between the jockey and the trainer. You can feel their tension around helping the horse. This is aided by the beautifully pin sharp eye of the horse. A great image, well done.

This is such an amazing and exhilarating image. It really shows the high pace action and speed that comes from a horse race. It is dramatic throughout. It is pin sharp and has superb colours, tones and contrast too. The composition of the image is fantastic as well. The image has just the right amount of room for the horses to turn into, so very well done. I love the eye on the front horse especially with the flash of red showing.
