Open Judging Results
Brief

This contest is open to photographers ranked between 251 and 1000 in this week’s Leaderboard.

Railway stations are evocative places. The start and end and throughpoints of journeys, escapes, adventures. Or maybe just a trip to the shops. They come in all different shapes and sizes, spanning 250 years of architectural history, from remote platforms with a shelter and a gate, to vast transport hubs servicing capital cities. There’s appeal for every kind of photographer - architectural, documentary, landscape - and a wealth of imagery to be had.

Ranked Contests are a weekly chance to compete alongside photographers of a similar Leaderboard ranking. Three contests with the same theme run at one time - for photographers ranked 1-250; 251-1000; and 1001+. They open Saturday morning after that week’s leaderboard has been updated, and are open for 5 days. They are Premium Contests, Expert-judged, but with no Crowd vote, so are worth 3x the standard ranking points.
