This contest is open to subscribers (members on the Challenger, Pro and Master subscription tiers). However if you're not a paying subscriber you can still purchase entries for £2 (GBP) per image.
Railways have reshaped our landscapes and completely changed the way we travel (or transport goods) from A to B. Every incarnation from steam trains to the more modern, high-speed varieties evoke certain feelings and inform the environments they're in. This is a great contest for those with an interest in engineering, drone shots or more.

Prize details
The expert judge's winner and the crowd's winner will both receive $50 store credit at Rocky Nook - one of the world's leading book publishers specialising in photography.
How it works
Every photo submitted will be available for the crowd to rate once the submissions period has ended. You can see all the images uploaded to a contest, but will need to rate them to see how they’re ranked once the rating period begins.
Some contests on Photocrowd also have a judge. After the submission period closes the judge chooses their favourite images and writes some image reviews. The crowd and judge results will be announced on the same day.
