This photograph employs a shallow focus technique, creating an illusion that transforms a real-world scene into something resembling a meticulously crafted miniature model. The use of selective focus draws the viewer's attention to the sharpest part of the frame, while the blurred edges add a sense of depth and scale that feels almost toy-like. Very nice!

**This contest is open to photographers ranked between 1 and 250 in this week’s Leaderboard.** The easiest weather to ignore as a photographer, but many surprises and opportunities await. Long shutter speeds can create new ways of depicting rain, and rain on different surfaces creates patterns and interactions. Rain on glass acts as a natural filter that obscures and shapes the scene beyond. And rain creates scenes amongst those being drenched - people running for shelter, umbrellas unfurled and hidden under, and dogs shaking off their wet coats.
