A minimalistic image where there's lot to been seen. Loved this picture from the moment I saw it. Sharpness is perfect and so is the choice of aperture which makes the subject stand out from the soft textured background.
The contract between the harsh barb wire and the softness of the drops is capturing what is, to me, the essence of this shot: There is another world behind the barb wire.....
Very original take on the subject of Refraction and therefor this image instantly stands out between all the other (amazing) shots in this contest.

Love the choice of background in this one. Really am wondering how you made this shot and that is one of the reasons why it stands out to me.
Perfect sharpness from front to back of this tiny subject and a very nice blur in the background. Great job! Going to try this sometime.. Will you teach me? ;)
Mesmerizing
Takes a while to process what exactly you are looking at and maybe I still haven't figured it out.. ;) But that isn't important in this picture. The shot is mesmerizing and very well executed. Love the lighting and tone, very delicate. As all of the tiny waterdrops are sharp your eyes keep floating to all the corners of the shot. Great job!

Lovely minimalistic shot but not easy to execute; Great job! sharpness is spot on as is the lightning. Positioning of the background is also perfect as we don't see the smiley-face in the background.
