Religious Buildings

August 2023

I was draw to this photo due to the lines and angles of the building. I really like the creative composition that the photographer has gone for. Jesus on the crucifix gives a point of interest for the viewer and also a sense of scale. Well done.

When I think of religious buildings, angels are one of the first things that come to mind. I really like the way that the photographer has composed this image, capturing the light falling on the angel. I feel that the grainy edit enhances the image and is a good choice by the photographer. A worthy winner.

I was drawn to this photograph initially because of the lighting. The composition and use of leading lines on the benches has been used well here. I like the use of vignette which highlights the benches and leading lines. Lovely use of warm tones in this image. Well done.
