Road to Nowhere

Simplicity, symmetry, and clean lines are what drew me into this image. And that was before I had even noticed the colour and detail in the sky and the man gazing out of shot to the right. A lovely image, and a winning image. Congratulations!

I love the mood in this scene, and i can almost feel the biting cold wind perfectly captured with the snow blowing and drifting across the road. And the road itself leads you through the snow into mountains and clouds beyond. A simple, yet epic scene. Well Done!

This quite literally looks like a road to nowhere. I can feel the isolation in this scene. The combination of the red lights, the subtle moonlight, and the fact that the clouds and the snow almost seem to merge at the horizon creates an eerie and dramatic picture... Which the eye can't help but gingerly follow through the image along the snow tracks. Well Done!

I see this as a "living image". There is so much going on but it doesn't clutter or distract, more takes you on a winding journey through these fields (and the image). Beautifully captured action within the scene, and some complimentary side lighting get this image a place in the Top 3. Congratulations!

This image is packed full of feeling and scale, and tells a story as the ridge lines leads the viewer on daunting trek through the image. A deceivingly simple image that slowly reveals more and more the longer you study it. Beautiful, Well Done!
