Selective colour photography is a process of photo manipulation where a converted black and white photo is left with an area, or 'accent', of partial colour. When done well, there's no denying it's a technique that can really bring an image to life and draw the eye to an area of particular interest. Lots of cameras and apps allow for this method to be done quickly or easily, but Photoshop can be used for more precise control.
