Selective Colour Red

WOW, I love the eerie feel to this image. The red makes a great focal point that draws your eye into the image. The building then aids your eye further by drawing it up to the top of the image and beautifully detailed sky. A wonderful image. Well done.

This is a charming image of a small child who seems to be enjoying a game on some fantastic architecture. The waves are crazy but allow you to float around the image with the boy. I love the red of his clothes as they ensure your eye focuses on him without getting lost in the image. The boy then, takes you around as he is in motion. The addition of the red umbrella is lovely as it has created a more interesting shape to the boy. A fabulous image. Well done.

I love how this image is so simple yet packs a punch too. The dog being large in the frame and black works really well as it enables the red ball to pop out at you. The entire image is pin sharp, well composed and has cracking detail, colours and contrast. A great image. Well done.

WOW, this is creative. I feel that the choice to make this image look like an arty sketch works really well as you are taken in and through the image by all the lines. The building helps this by having so many different parts to it. The small amount of red is just the right amount and in the correct places to again take you into the image. Well done.

I love how the two sets of parallel lines draw you into the image. They direct you through where you find the beautiful figure. Their shadow is lovely as it adds interest and variety to the image. For me, I think a small white border could heighten the appeal of the image and bring it more together. The pop of red from the umbrella makes a great image work. Well done.
