We all know that in this age of social media, the "Selfie" is king and queen of popular photography. However, for this contest, we'd like to encourage you to go back to the classical. For centuries, photographers and artists have created representations of themselves through film and paints. Sometimes tragic, sometimes beautiful; these portraits have outlived their creators - people who had never even heard of a selfie stick! We're looking forward to seeing your own serious self-portraits for this contest.
