Shadows

Brief

Reliant on a strong light source - the sun shining, or an unobscured bulb or flame - shadows are generated whenever light means an obstacle. They offer an interesting challenge to shoot, requiring a shift in mindset as the photographer starts looking for something different, the inferred presence of a subject rather than necessarily the subject itself.
