Take a look at the <a href="https://www.photocrowd.com/leaderboard/">leaderboard</a> for more information on Photocrowd rankings.** When photographed thoughtfully, shadows and silhouettes are a subtle but powerful way to convey drama and mood. Although incredibly simple and commonplace, shadows have the power to capture the viewer's imagination and draw them into the story that your shots are setting. Make sure you have a strong understanding of the effects of lighting and light placement before you start. Good luck.
