Congratulations on winning my Contest. This obvious shipwreck still has a dynamic relation to the sea because of the upcoming tide, giving it the feeling of still sailing. The birds nests are clear enough to show the state of which the ship is in and form a wonderful contrast. Nature is reclaming this vessel, well done.

Show me your photos of shipwrecks in any situation. The ships or boats have to be in such a deteriorated state that they are clearly unfit to float. Surprise me with your finds and your creative ways to capture them. Photos are welcome in colour or black and white.

A wonderful minimal image of a shipwreck, rising up from the sand as if it is going to sail away again. The colours are beautiful and the photo is very carefully edited. The horizon at a third of the height with the stern of the shipwreck sticking out just a bit above it is a perfect choice.. A strong image.

An epic image, it looks like the Arc of noah at the point of finding dry land. The tight crop as well as the lack of masts and other things above the hull makes the boat look even bigger as it is. The rope, acting as a leading line, completely overgrown with seaweed, is a beautiful storytelling entry to the boat. Finally, the sky is a wonderful cherry on the cake.

A great focus on a shipwreck without any distraction at all, even the water ripples are leading lines, drawing the attention to the wreck. . A minimalist beauty. I also like very much the blending in of the sky and the sea behind the shipwreck making the image even more powerful.

A strange and unreal capture that brings up many questions. What is happening here? It's a frozen moment in time, photographed by a photographer that isn't present, photographed by another photographer. Confusing and wonderful., a storytelling and truly magical image.
