This has a potential of a great group portrait. I love the setting, the characters and the dog, and I would have loved to see more shots. There is something very English about the image.

I love the mood and feel of this shot. It is very soft, but it still has a timeless feel to it. I love the gentle colours and stillness of the picture. Although I wish it was slightly sharper and the baby was not wearing stripy pants.

There is something quite Martin Parr about this photograph. It says a lot about what's going on without stating the obvious. This may be a family occasion, perhaps Christmas or a granddad's birthday, and it makes for a good reportage photo!

This is a lovely sensitive portrait of a couple with their newborn. The lighting is nice and the viewer really sees and feels the love of the parents. The kiss is really beautiful too. This is almost like a Rembrandt painting. The father is positioned very well and the little baby's hand on the father's is lovely. Brilliant and well done!

There is something about this picture that I really like, but find hard to explain. At first it seems like an ordinary portrait, but look at the expressions. The girl in the middle is sullen and is looking elsewhere; the little girl is looking straight into the camera and pulling a face; while the boy is gazing Into the distance. I also love the colour, the curve of the road and the poses of the kids.

I personally love black and white photography, and this reminds me of Bill Brandt's work. I love the drama of this image. We do not see much of the children's faces, but that only ads to the mood and feel of the image. Beautiful landscape and sky as well.

I love this photo - it's real and authentic. Most pictures of kids with their teddy bears or bunnies tent to be too cute. But this is raw and the photographer was well placed to take it. I like the out of focus bush in the foreground, which gives the image its depth, as if the photographer is not there - just observing. The expression on the little girl's face is beautiful. She is not posing or trying to be cute.

I love the photographer's imagination and creativity here. I love the dad pouring a glass of wine, while looking at his phone, teenage son on a skateboard and daughter doing her home work whilst hanging in the air - quite wacky, but brilliant. This could be an ad for a family kitchen.

There is something about this image that keeps me coming back. It's mysterious and I love anything to do with performing artists - I would have loved to see more from this series.

This is a beautiful, moody and an evoking portrait of a little girl. The light is fantastic and the wind in the hair is just what makes it so special. The viewer is drawn into her soul through her gaze. Wonderful.

This is a lovely image and has all the emotions of a great image - humour, sensitivity and empathy. Very well done.

This is a classic Christmas picture. We see so many, but this one just seems authentic and not contrived. The odd composition just adds to the authenticity. I am glad the photographer did not crop out the women who is awake on the right.

I like this image as it is really quite hard to get a photo of three generations of family watching TV together - I have tried often without much success. The detail on the table is amazing. It looks as if there was a stylist involved, everything seems so perfect - the beer, the crisps and then grandad, father and two sons all engrossed in a game of baseball. Amazing! I would like to know if the photographer is related.
