Silhouettes

Brief

This contest is for your photos of silhouettes. A silhouette is the dark shape and outline of someone or something visible against a lighter background, usually photographed shooting into the light, with the subject between a light source and the camera. Please do not confuse silhouettes with shadows, which are projection of a subject's shape onto a different surface. Your silhouettes can be shot in any location and at any time of day, such as during the daytime in front of the ocean, or in front of a stunning sunset.
