The sky at night

This certainly is a striking image and caught my eye immediately as I glanced at the thumbnails before going into judging mode. I don't quite know where to begin, there's so much to explore in the image that I find myself staring at my screen in awe. The shape of the small turquoise stream in the foreground reflects the proud peak standing tall in the distance. It also leads my eye to the right of the scene as we get vibrant splashes of green in the small pools that lead to the sea and beautiful sky above. I love how the small patch of deep blue starry sky blends into flowing ribbons of bright blue and green tones, contrasting against the rugged landscape and snow. Well done Nick, a fantastic image and one to be very proud of!
