Small Architecture

The simplicity in this image is great, there were a few images taken of this area but for me the one point perspective of the single building really works and fits the brief perfectly.

The treatment is spot on and I think the muted tones really work.

This was a late entry to my top 10 but it stands out really well as a thumbnail, the initial impact is what drew me in, it's fantastic and love how the boathouse is lit and stands out from the monochrome background.

Fantastic image, everyone loves a good sun shot and I know you will have waited a while to get this so well done.

There is a slight issue with iso on the left hand side where you ave pulled the shadows but great shot!

Fantastic image and love the lighting on the boathouse, I've actually been to this location a few times myself and seen quite a few images taken from this spot but you've done great job of making the boathouse stand out.

Really nice shot, obviously the sky looks great and the subject is fantastic.

My only slight issue which is why this didn't place higher is the foreground, I would like this to be static, the blur draws my eye a little bit from the subject but great shot!

This series is really nice and would love to see it expanded in something like an Instagram feed.

The reflection works really well I would just have liked a slightly longer shutter speed to get rid of the bits in the water with some movement as they draw my eye to the foreground a little too much.

As a thumbnail this image really stands out, love the simplicity of the little hut against the snow and the footprints wandering around really add to it.

The slight glow from the sun matches the colour of the hut perfectly too.

Love this shot, makes me want to get out there and travel, the red stands out really well against the backdrop of the mountains.

Tough luck on the aurora, I've tried to capture it myself and not been lucky enough but keep on trying!

Great shot, that mist really adds to the shot and transports the viewer to a far away place.

That little glint of the sunlight is great but I would like to have seen a little more of it just to make the church pop out even more.

The only aerial image in the competition so it really stands out but also gives me a great insight into a culture I know little about which I think makes a really strong image.

The story that goes with this shows how much effort you have put it.

There are a few shots of this area in the competition but I really like the elevated view point you have gone with here I think it works really well and shows the building in its location really well.

I like that little bit of mist creeping in top left too!
