What a great image of a Sparrow on a Feeder I love the warm tones you gave it, and the way you included the out of focus surroundings as well by using a wide aperture. I also think that by putting the Sparrow in the centre of the frame really draws you in to the image and makes you look round at the out of focus surrounding's
Well done in getting 1st place.
A well caught and composed shot of which i think is a Lincoln's Sparrow ( correct me if I'm wrong please).
I probably would have gave this image a higher placing, but I am not a fan of oversaturated colours in wildlife photo's although i think the bird and the fence or gate on which it is on? are ok, its just the green background that is oversaturated for me.
But i still think it deserves a worthy 4 place for such a well composed and caught shot.
Well done in getting 4th place.
Another great image of some Sparrow's one flying towards a feeder. By exposing for the highlights you gave the image a low key effect which made it stand out for me, you handled the exposure really well by not blowing out the highlights. I also like the way the two other Sparrow's on the feeder at the top left are looking at the one flying in.
Well done in getting 2nd place.
