Splash!

Pretty much the epitome of "Splash!" I really like the contrast of the bright red against the white surface, with the shadow adding depth and interest. The lighting has aided the feeling of depth, giving it a nice three dimensional feel. Very nicely done.

I find this image quite fascinating.

I know it's a simple droplet on the liquid surface, but I still find it quite compelling. It's not just the fact the droplet appears to be simply sat there, with the surface tension quite evident. It also brings to mind the technical challenges faced by the photographer regarding the distance from subject to lens, lighting, and of course the timing for such an image.

If this isn't a clear example of problem solving, then I'm not sure what is.

Great image

Very nicely put together image, which wouldn't be out of place in a featured advertising campaign. Very well done, and the shadowing on the bottle itself gives away the fact that this is not composite, but a very well executed "live" capture of the bottle and water.
