**Open to photographers with a ranking outside the top 1000. There are two other 'Sport photography' contests currently open to other ranks. The ongoing action of sports presents an almost endless stream of dynamic moments to capture and present. Expressions and movements are heightened – not just of the sportspeople, but the spectators, too - resulting in an atmosphere that’s almost tangible, even through a photograph.
