**Open to photographers with a ranking outside the top 1000. There are two other 'Sports' contests currently open to other ranks. Take a look at the <a href="https://www.photocrowd.com/leaderboard/">leaderboard</a> for more information on Photocrowd rankings.** Sports photography is a very broad term, but one that usually shares a few key elements. For example, the photographer may have little control over the posing and background, so camera angles and perspective are important. There may also be an emphasis on capturing 'that perfect moment' so taking lots of shots at a fast shutter speed is advised! Get into (or, close to!) the action, and have fun.
