You capture an amazing photo with a lot of emotions in it. The spontaneous football. No matter where we are the sport brings us together! From a technical perspective, it would have been nice to see some angles of this shot having the house straight behind.

This is just a magical photo from all sides. The symmetry, the colors, the composition. Amazing job! I love how we also are able to see the shadows of the talents giving it even more depth in the photo! Well done!

**This contest is open to photographers ranked between 251 and 1000 in this week’s <a href="https://www.photocrowd.com/photographer-community/">Leaderboard</a>.** Scenes of heroic battles and lacklustre draws. Victories and losses. Personal and team effort. We check out of everyday life and check into the world of sport when we step onto the pitch or court. The focus of this contest is a little more on the areas of play themselves, be they professional stadia, or the local fields. But this of course can include sport being played, showing them in use, being trodden on, run up and down, and generally doing what they were built for.

I think there is something special and magical about forgotten pitches like the one you have captured. In a very romantic way, nature shows us that when we humans are no longer there it takes care of the surroundings. Love the angle of this photo and the composition is great.
